Our Mission Statement
The Atlantic City Police Department is committed to providing the highest quality of police services by empowering our members and the community to work in partnership with the goal of improving the quality of life within Atlantic City while at the same time maintaining respect for individual rights and human dignity.
The Atlantic City Police Department is staffed with approximately 400 sworn officers and 150 civilians in a support capacity.
The Department provides services to the residents of City of Atlantic City and its approximately 30 million annual visitors. Services include twenty-four hour staffing for crime investigation, traffic, community policing and in-house forensic investigative services.
