The Atlantic City Police Division is committed to providing the highest quality of police services by empowering our members and the community to work in partnership with the goal of improving the quality of life within Atlantic City while at the same time maintaining respect for individual rights and human dignity.
The Department is staffed with approximately 400 sworn personnel and 150 civilians in a support capacity. The Department provides services to the City of Atlantic City and its approximately 30 million visitors yearly. Services include twenty-four hour staffing of investigation and traffic investigation services, Community Policing services, and in house Forensic Investigative services.
