The Atlantic County Police-Fire
Memorial Park

The Atlantic County Memorial Park was built to honor Police Officers and Fire Fighters who were killed in the line of duty. The park was built in an area between the Atlantic County and Atlantic City government offices. It was built on a property that had formerly been a city street in front of City Hall known as Bacharach Boulevard.

The park features a memorial sculpture designed by Atlantic City Fire Fighter John Gowdy and memorial plaques naming the Police Officers and Fire Fighters killed in the the County in the line of duty.

Atlantic City Police Officers killed in the line of duty are:

Peter Brewer/Brower in 1890

Clayton G Graham in 1962

Daniel Duros in 1963

John Burke in 1970

Peter Egnor in 1981
