School Resource Officer
The School Resource Officer consists of law enforcement officers who are
assigned to schools in cooperative agreement with education officials. These
police officers receive the necessary training to work in school settings. They
provide service in school operations with respect to providing school safety,
support services, enhanced campus supervision, assistance with disruptive
students, and a host of other functions geared toward improving and maintaining
school safety. |
